siri instructed this pose with props. not sure what it symbolizes
spring viruses have caught up with us. siri missed quite a bit of school over the past few weeks due to coughs, fevers, rashes, etc. here she is at home with me and refusing to bathe b/c she didn't want to get wet. well, the novelty of the shower cap wooed her into the shower.
went to the sf zoo with emma and her family. the following day siri stayed home with a fever
peacock at sf zoo
of all "animals" at the zoo, siri and emma enjoyed this one the most
evie has not been feeling well lately. for those who may remember, she's been in kidney failure since 2009 and we've been injecting her with subcutaneous fluids for the past three years. she's recently gone on a bit of a food strike. she's had blood and urine drawn, and we hope she snaps out of it soon.
she remains a chipper and spunky cat nevertheless. begging for food, asking for pettings, and even napped with siri briefly today.
on our date at rolling out cafe (or per jenn, a junk store), siri pointed to the t.v. and said it was a toaster. *le sigh*
"sand" table invention by mommy. siri loved it. jeff hated it and grumbled about it for a few hours.
ingredients: sugar, lentils and brown rice
piggy got hungry...
...mid swimming lesson! as a responsible swim instructor, siri removed the top of her swimsuit and nursed him
turned in a full draft of my dissertation to my committee, and waiting for their comments before the defense. in the mean time, taking advantage of living in sf for the next couple of months by working at the ferry building on thursday.
got my second michelin star at frances on friday night (jeff has like 20 or something). date night while aunt jenn and uncle todd took siri to swimming.

I love seeing all of the random pictures that you have posted. Very creative with the sugar and lental mixture. Fun to feel and sift through it.
