Siri the thief
We had our first diaper gym class today -- it's a class where babies younger than 9-months-old get a chance to exercise, listen to music and interact with one another. Siri enjoyed looking at the other two babies there (both girls), and liked several of the exercises -- she especially enjoyed the parachute and bubbles, and looking at herself in the mirror. For one of the activities, the instructor picked up each child at their turn to place them on their tummies on a very large yoga ball. Siri is very familiar with this exercise as we have a yoga ball at home and she gets put on it all the time. She immediately started reaching out toward the ball when she saw it. The instructor picked up Siri and placed her on the ball when she discovered that her bracelet was missing (a wire, wraparound bracelet). We were all looking for it when one of the moms suddenly said, "I think she has it." The "she" was of course, Siri who had managed to swipe the bracelet from the instructor's wrist when she picked her up to put her on the ball. It looks like we have a young jewel thief-in training.
