siri -- week 28

aside from the major things reported in the previous post, siri is revisiting bananas starting today. she definitely does not seem to enjoy the bananas as much as the sweet potatoes and made an immediate "face" with the first bite. i'm hoping she'll grow to like them since i pureed about five bananas last week and have enough in the freezer for this week. next week, we move onto something else...
here are pictures of siri from this week, hanging out at home mostly. siri's hair is finally long enough to do things with, so i pulled it up with a rubberband today, which attracted a lot of attention from strangers when we went to the grocery store. also note that the final picture in this post is of siri with a mark on her right cheek (first "battle wound" associated with being somewhat mobile). i was trying to teach her consequences, so did not hold onto her as she was sitting upright. she started to lean forward and i thought i'd let her fall just so she'd know what happens when she loses balance. unfortunately, i did not realize that one of her toys was directly in front of her and she fell onto it. she whined briefly, but calmed down once i picked her up. i felt so bad!
