Three-year checkup

it's hard to believe that siri is three-years-old! she had her three-year checkup a couple of weeks ago, and we will now report the following:

height: 3'1" (55th percentile)

weight: 35.2 lbs (85th percentile)

our enormous baby (and toddler) is now regressing to the mean of an average pre-schooler :(. i guess only height is average since she's in the 85th percentile for weight. yes, we have a chubby one.

bonus: siri got her hair cut yesterday, and it was long overdue. she insisted that she wanted her hair to be as short as daddy's because it seems daddy is her favorite at the moment (and yes, she vocalizes this by saying "i like mommy, but i like daddy better." yep, she's three, not 13. at any rate, i asked the hairstylist to off about three inches (no, i don't cut hair and don't plan on learning how because i fear botching it), so siri's hair length is now a little past her chin. we checked out the new hair in the living room mirror when we got home, and siri giggled at her reflection. we then went into the bedroom to play and get ready for nap. but, siri requested that we check out her hair again in the living room mirror. when asked why, her response: "because it looks so cute!" indeed. i will post pictures soon.
