Siri -- week 32

Some pretty exciting things happening this week. Siri finally decided that she could roll around all the time and even get into the crawling position. She has been able to scoot (crawl) backwards a couple of times, but not forward yet. She's pretty thrilled by her accomplishments and has woken up early (5am) or refused to nap or go to bed (e.g. now -- Jeff is trying to get her to sleep) so she could practice. Her nap time now consists of either Jeff or me laying next to her for one to one and one half hours as she rolls back and forth between the wall and her parent. Of course, each time she rolls to the other side, she looks back at us with a huge grin. Siri has moved onto eating apples. I guess I didn't cook the first batch thoroughly enough as it was too chunky and Siri gagged a couple of times. I cooked more yesterday and the pureed consistency is much smoother -- no gagging today! We took Evie in to have her rechecked this week and the vet says things are looking better (her Creatinine and BUN levels have lowered, which are good signs). We're happy she's responding well to the diet and IV treatment, but the IV is no fun. She now knows the approximate times each day we administer it, and tries to hide from us :( Here are some pictures from this week.

it was actually closer to 10:00pm when this was posted although for some reason it says 7:30. This is important to capture the fact that we'd been trying to put siri to bed since 8pm.

Tell her to stop growing so fast! She's starting to look like a little girl rather than a baby. We want more videos!!!
