Siri -- week seven

Siri celebrated her first Thanksgiving in a cute scottie dog outfit that Jeff and I bought her when we visited Big Bear (see late August/early September posting). She was the only one dressed up for the occasion as we just lounged around in pjs all day. She went on her first major outing yesterday -- to a bar to watch the Civil War with other SoCal OSU alum decked out in orange and white. Actually, she slept the entire time but we discovered that she hates clapping, loud cheering and jeering since she stirred each time any of those three happened. Major milestones this week: using her hands a lot more to bat at things on her playmat. She can lift her head really well when placed on our shoulders and on her tummytime pillow (about 90 degrees). Also, she's making more noises aside from the newborn coos. She has added "ah goo" and "l(n)ey" to her repertoire.

Here are some photos from Thanksgiving as she gets progressively more and more restless then calms down briefly before fussing.
