Siri -- six weeks

Since I'm breastfeeding, Jeff has been lulling Siri to sleep so he has some bonding time as well. She is now used to that routine and prefers Jeff's singing and rocking as opposed to mine :( Needless to say, it is a bit difficult to put her down for naps on days when Jeff has classes.

Two major milestones this week: she laughed for the first time Thursday morning. We were playing after dressing her and she was smiling a ton and then laughed. She also laughed this morning. I try to respond quickly to her with smiles and words of congratulations every time she smiles so that she is socialized to know that smiling (and soon, laughing) is a good thing :) She is able to lift her head more than last week thanks to plenty of tummy time and shoulder time, although she prefers the latter.

Here are some pictures from this week. Her hair is getting lighter and her eyes have transitioned from a slate blue to now a light brown. If they stayed slate blue I would've had to explore my ancestry and find that European gene.
