Brooklynites

It's been a rather busy month for us as I started my new job at Brooklyn College, and Jeff is in a full swing at work.  Siri starts school next week, so be on the lookout for photo updates.  Here's an assortment of pictures that were taken over the past few weeks.  Enjoy!
someone loves her room

helping mommy do the dishes -- she's quite good!

scrubbing dishes to go in the dishwasher

little community garden on 5th ave.

brooklyn college grounds

siri having lunch outside the west quad building

mean mommy made "SIRI R" worksheets and had her practice writing her name

brooklyn is truly diverse in every way.  since we've been here, siri has asked for a yarmulka and then a hijab (inspired by one of student assistants in my department's office)

adventureland in coney island -- went there for a gathering with some new students at siri's new school.  it was not particularly fun (for the parents)

riding a blue motorcycle at adventureland -- mommy refused to let siri sit in the front seat

boat ride!

driving

brooklyn chinatown

pretty legit, and chinese folks actually live here

this cart was pretty awesome.  the stinky tofu and squid balls were delish

daddy and siri (and maggie, the babysitter) have been building a lot of tents lately.  siri asked to sleep in a tent for night night
