conferencing in hawaii

i don't usually post pictures from conferences.  rather, i never take pictures at conferences.  but, this was a bit different.  the location itself warranted some photos.  don't let these pictures fool you -- i spent most of the time cooped inside hotel conference rooms, and allotted a total of TWO hours on the beach during my three-day stay in hawaii.  *sigh*  until next time, hawaii...
