cousins -- we met up with aunt jenn and maia right after visiting the rainforest part of the cal academy, hence siri's flushed cheeks.

siri likes to help with the laundry. her most recent interest is help me hang up the items not suited for the dryer (in addition to watching the washer in action. it's quite peaceful, actually).

apologies for the numerous uploads. we hadn't had time to update the blog in a while, and there seem to be many pictures to share. we've been continuously sick since february -- right around the time when siri started school. some symptoms have been more tolerable than others, but that isn't always the case. the latest episode seems to be passing through us now (knock on wood), which eventuated with me visiting the ent and being put on antibiotics for recurring sinus infections (culture test was positive for bacterial infection). i seem to be slowly regaining my sense of smell and taste, so that's a good thing. siri's cough is sounding less productive this week, and she seems to have more energy. jeff's been in the clear for a while now. he's still coughing, but not as bad as a couple of weeks ago. we're hoping that our upcoming trip to oregon will provide much needed r&r for our bodies to recover and prepare for the next onslaught of germs.
