siri and i went to a children's consignment store a couple of weeks ago, and she immediately zeroed in on a used radio flyer tricycle. she excitedly ran up to the tricycle and sat on it. i told her that we couldn't get it because she doesn't know how to pedal, but i would definitely reconsider once she learns how to pedal. i then left her to sit on the tricycle while i looked at shoes. moments after, i heard some squeaking and saw siri pedaling -- she went about two feet. here's a video of her practicing in golden gate park.
