we're due for an update, but things are crazy as ever around this household. siri and i returned from a brief trip to seattle earlier this week; i had a conference in seattle and brought siri with me. my mom met us there to help care for siri while i conferenced, but it was exhausting and overwhelming. i'm not sure whether it was because siri was with me, or because i had a ton of things going on at the conference, or perhaps a combination of both. at any rate, i will reconsider bringing siri with me to conferences in the future, unless it's near family. siri had a good time with jiu jiu, aunt hanh, in addition to lao lao and papa tim. i haven't had a chance to download pictures yet, but will try to do that soon.
siri informed us today that she no longer wants evie. the monologue went something like this:
"daddy, no want evie anymore. want lao lao take evie. i want siwanna (savannah)." as mean as this seems, evie had it coming. she refuses to let siri touch her, whereas savannah will gladly snuggle with siri. evie is not appreciative of the fact that siri looks forward to feeding her, and runs away as soon as she sees siri approaching. it's no wonder siri wants a cat who can reciprocate love and affection.

I need to get the pics and videos from my camera to you. I'll figure out the best way to do that sometime today :-) That's sad that Siri wants to trade Evie...but I guess she kind of deserves it for not being loving to Siri. hahaha
Well, there might be hope on the Evie front - Terran wasn't thrilled with Jessie around the same age and was looking forward to me moving out of the house so that he and Daddy could get a cat, but now he loves her.
