my professor shared that when his son was about a year old, a teacher at his daycare asked my professor to make a list of the words his son could say in both english and spanish (the child was raised bilingual). my professor still has that list and suggested that i do the same and keep track of the words siri knows...so, we started a list and there are about 25 words on there in both chinese and english. it's amazing how fast she is becoming a little girl! siri had a very serious conversation with jeff this morning. we, of course, had no idea what she was talking about, but she was very insistent and serious while conveying her thoughts. it was pretty funny :)
siri is definitely talking a lot these days, and making quite a few demands. it must be frustrating to know exactly what you're thinking, and think that you are relaying what you want to your parents only to be disappointed that they misunderstood you. i'm sure this is how siri feels all the time. i wish i could offer her some solace, but the truth is, children and parents seem to misunderstand eachother even as adults. siri has also grasped the fine art of saying "no" and shaking her head -- let the fun begin!

I can't believe how fast she's growing up! I love the last picture :-) Siri just wants to give Evie some love and Evie is just like "get me out of here!" LOL
