we had heard such great things about the little farm in tilden park (berkeley), so we decided to venture to the east bay yesterday. it was a great decision: siri absolutely loved it! she got to feed duckies and little chicks; she witnessed piglets having nei nei and was super excited by it. she was a bit scared of the cow with the long tongue, and definitely could care less about the super aggressive goats.
we had a little picnic in the open area afterwards and siri enjoyed running around. it was nice being somewhere with actual open space that was not bordered by concrete. jeff and i could both relax a bit and just watch siri from afar rather than being on her tail at all times fearful she may fall and badly hurt herself on concrete. it made us want to move some place simpler...
