the whole family has been sick the past three days. we all have colds, but siri seems to be faring much better than the adults. that's not the important point, however. as we all know, cold symptoms peak on the second day, which was yesterday. jeff stayed home from work, and siri didn't go to the nanny's (she doesn't normally go on fridays anyway). as reported in an earlier post, siri has also been toying with walking. so, of course, when the parental unit was feeling very under the weather, siri decided to walk...a ton. the moments were sporadic, but she was walking throughout the day, taking six steps at a time at one point. jeff's symptoms were a bit worse than mine, so i had to chase around siri, while sniffling, dealing with a stuffy head and general malaise. additionally, siri took crappy naps all day. being sick made it very difficult to enjoy the first day thus far that siri has decided to walk so much. she's such a mean baby.
yesterday was also the day california bar takers got their exam results. we are happy to report that jeff has passed the bar in california! he'll attend the swearing in ceremony and will be a legit attorney as soon as that happens. the wait for the result also horrendous, which may have contributed to jeff's symptoms.
